About us

Don’t be afraid – I am Autism” are people whose primary goal is to help Polish families of
children on the autism spectrum and/or with ADHD living in the UK.

Our motto is: “Happy child – Happy parents”, because we know what parents struggle with
every day to understand children on the autism spectrum and give them everything they need
to find their place in society.

Parents often do not even realize that in this daily rush they stop thinking about their health,
happiness and inner peace, which are important in the long-term upbringing of their children.
Our efforts and the support of partners, parents can exchange experiences with other parents,
receive psychological care, speech therapists’ advice and help, which are often invaluable.
One meeting can turn into long-term acquaintances and friendships that will provide support
in confronting everyday life and strength in overcoming everyday problems. Expert advice,
family meetings, exchange of experiences and views, this is what we strive for.
Every child is different, but also important, which is why we strive to create events that
satisfy both the emotional and sensory spheres of each child.

Events that aim to unite these chosen families, events where no one judges anyone, events
where all the children are the same, happy and smiling, events where while parents secretly
wipe away the tears of happiness, that appear in their eyes when they look at their joyful
children.

We need to remember:

– We are all same!
– We are all one big family!
– We all have the right to happiness!
